ID & passport photo maker: exact size + background
Uploading an ID photo for a visa, an exam or a form, the usual headaches are the wrong dimensions or a non-compliant background. ID & Passport Photo crops your picture to exact pixel sizes — 1-inch 295×413, 2-inch 413×579, passport, US visa 2×2in are all presets — then lays down a white, blue, red or gray background in one tap. It all runs locally in your browser — nothing uploaded, no watermark, no limits.
ID & Passport Photo Crop to exact 1-inch / 2-inch / passport sizes + a white, blue or red background. It runs entirely in your browser — your photos are never uploaded — and it's free, watermark-free, with no limits.

Why use lume cat's ID & Passport Photo?
- Pixel-exact sizes: 1-inch 295×413, 2-inch 413×579 and more are computed at the standard 300DPI, so upload systems won't reject them for the wrong dimensions.
- White / blue / red / gray in one tap: the common ID backgrounds drop straight in, no round-trip through a photo editor.
- Nothing uploaded, no watermark, no limits: it all runs in your browser, so a sensitive ID photo never touches any server.
Frequently asked questions
No AI cutout. It does exact-size cropping plus a background fill: the color is laid on the canvas and the photo sits on top. It works best when your photo already has a clean background (or is an already-cut-out transparent PNG). For a busy background, remove it with a cutout tool first, then set the size and color here.
At the common print standard of 300DPI: 1-inch (25×35mm) ≈ 295×413px, 2-inch (35×49mm) ≈ 413×579px, small 2-inch (35×45mm) ≈ 413×531, passport (33×48mm) ≈ 390×567, and a US 2×2-inch visa photo is 600×600. The presets are already set to these.
Pick a size, then tap white / blue / red / gray under “Background” and the preview swaps instantly. The color sits behind the photo, so a clean or transparent-PNG background swaps most naturally; for a messy original, cut it out first, then set the size and color here.
A high-quality JPG at the exact ID-photo pixel size — upload it straight to a registration or visa system, or send it to a print shop to lay out as 1-inch / 2-inch prints.
